Summary
I am a multi-talented individual who has extensive knowledge in many areas of television production and web design and maintenance. I’ve worked on many a different production crews and in various capacities. I have designed and built websites using HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL for example, in both a plain-text editor and advanced programs such as Adobe Dreamweaver. I can multi-task well, learn quickly and am always up for a new challenge.
Broadcast Media
I have been a director, professionally, for 4 years, but I have been working on production crews in varying capacities since 1998. I have directed and worked on crews for just about every type of production. For example, I currently direct live news. In the past, I have brought a television show from the concept stage to enjoy a 2-year run on local cable in Milwaukee, WI. In addition to directing, I have edited a wide variety of productions using a variety of non-linear and linear editing equipment.
Internet / New Media
I have considerable experience working with web technologies and have been actively developing and maintaining websites, both simple and advanced, for myself and outside clients since the late 1990s. I have written static HTML, database driven PHP and interactive websites. I am comfortable using a plain-text editor such as vi, or a design environment such as Adobe Dreamweaver in the design process of a website. Projects have included an online catalog for a shoe import company, a video-on-demand system for Marquette University’s student television station and an online version of a trade association’s quarterly newsletter.

About the Domain Name
Believe it or not, I do get asked this question a lot. The name “Rockman Productions” is the name I slapped on the end of episodes of “The Music Show” that I produced for MUTV outside of the studio. The name Rockman comes from the on-air name I took while DJing for the campus radio station, Adam “The Rock Man” Chernow. So there, now you know.
