Chicago Cubs Online has been taking a look at the 1908 World Series, which is the last time the Cubs won a World Series. To put this into perspective….radio, television, the microwave, and commercial aviation have all been invented, there have been 2 world wars, and both legendary broadcasters Jack Brickhouse and Harry Caray were born and died since the last time the Cubs won a World Series.
By the way, I’ve mentioned this before, but if you’re curious about that sign in Latin across from Wrigley, CCO has that story, too.

and it’s running via IMAP!!! Seriously, I don’t think anyone really knows how excited I am about this. If I could, I’d scream like the girls you see in archival footage of the Beatles stepping foot onto US soil.

The “folders” down the left side of T-Bird correspond to the labels in Gmail. I don’t know about anyone else, but I love the 3-column mode of T-bird. Then again, it’s also the way I set my Outlook up at work.
Of course, last names & email addresses have been blurred to protect the innocent (except the one of the mailing list.)
